Blue Sky Ours

Thank you to the Powderworkers for their generous support of our oceans.

The Powderworkers, a community of Midnight Oil fans, have raised over $2,800 for marine conservation.

Matthew Yau of the Powderworkers explains “The Powderworkers stand side by side with the AMCS in their honourable work to protect our oceans.” He continues, “As passionate Midnight Oil fans from across the globe, we share the band’s belief that urgency is needed—our oceans and marine life are worth fighting for. Our ocean ecosystems must remain intact so that future generations can experience the same joy and connection we have had with the sea.”

The Powderworkers exist to celebrate the music of Midnight Oil and its members, past and present. Its fundamental purpose is to promote equality, positivity, tolerance and happiness through the music of Midnight Oil.

Matthew and Powderworkers, have taken their passion for one band and turned their drive, their energy, their resolve to make meaningful music that crosses the line from art to advocacy. Thank you!
