Underwater Magic: Meet Vanessa
Marelux Marine Conservation liaison officer and long-time AMCS contributor, Vanessa Mignon, is an award winning wildlife photographer based in Australia.
“The reason I moved to Australia is because I fell in love with its incredible wildlife, both on land and under the surface. Sadly our oceans face so many challenges: seismic blasting, plastic pollution, climate change, shark culling. I feel strongly about supporting AMCS in their constant work to highlight the risks, educate, provide solutions and help ensure that our oceans are protected”.
Vanessa was awarded the 2015 IFAW Animal Action Award – Marine photographer of the year in recognition for her work and efforts to promote conservation.
