Lend A Hand
“No more business as usual” celebrates the love for our endangered Australian marine life.
Artist Ronelle Reid, uses ink, oils and watercolours to create detailed artworks that explore the relationships between animals and their habitats.
She says, “I find the ocean fascinating, it is a world in itself. The creatures that inhabit the ocean are mysterious and wonderful, colourful and strange. I am particularly drawn to cephalopods and if you believe in spirit animals I think an octopus could be mine!”
Ronelle created two unique artworks, “No more business as usual” and “Lend a hand”, for AMCS to highlight our endangered and vulnerable marine species.
“As a wildlife conservation artist, my work talks about the plight of wildlife in our world. My mission is to bring those stories into the homes of people all over the world and have them echo the stories to have them heard by new audiences.”
