Cat’s Fish Tale
Cat’s been an AMCS Sea Guardian for about 13 years.
Dr Cat Dorey is a passionate nature lover with over 20 years of experience in environmental and social justice advocacy and activism. She’s been campaigning for healthy oceans since 2003.
She says “I feel a very strong connection to nature, especially all the weird and wonderful ocean critters! I get a lot of joy floating in the water with my snorkel, mask and fins, searching for octopuses, seahorses and other elusive species.”
Cat was also a staff member at AMCS for 3 years, where she led our Marine Parks team and then our Fair Catch campaign for strong import rules to keep unsustainable and unethical seafood out of Australia.
