FNQ Rally For Reef
Far North Queenslanders gathered to support strong climate action to protect the Great Barrier Reef.
AMCS and Divers for Climate hosted Reef and Climate Forums in Port Douglas and Cairns in March. Nearly 200 Queenslanders gathered to call for strong climate action for our Reef while it endured its fifth mass bleaching event in eight years.
The huge turnout of Cairns and Port Douglas locals showed that Far North Queenslanders are concerned about what’s happening at the Reef, and want to see stronger climate action from our elected representatives.
Thank you to our reef loving ocean community who showed up to speak up for our oceans.
